GT Telo8 Warranty & RideCare
Telo8 Standard Warranty
GT Telo8 is covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Battery and frame: 15 months. Ride system: 9 months. See the standard warranty terms for component coverage, conditions and the claim process.
Standard warranty coverage does not require buying RideCare. RideCare is an additional seller-backed damage protection plan and does not replace the standard warranty.
GT Telo8 RideCare: One-Year Whole-Vehicle Parts Service
1. Service coverage
RideCare is an additional after-sales service provided by Yisuntrek for GT Telo8. It covers all original parts of the vehicle, including the battery, motor, frame, controller, display, wiring, lights, suspension, steering, wheels, tires, brake pads and all other original components.
Within the service period and remaining allowance, new replacement parts are provided for damage from any cause, including riding, falls, collisions and wear from use. The service does not cover theft, loss or third-party modifications.
2. Service period
The service lasts for one year from the date the vehicle order is placed. Replacement parts do not restart the service period.
3. Cumulative parts allowance
Each vehicle receiving RideCare has a cumulative parts allowance of US$4,699. There is no separate limit on the number of claims within the service period and allowance.
Each replacement shipment is counted toward the allowance at Yisuntrek's official retail prices. These prices include shipping and taxes, which are not counted again separately. For parts without a published price, we will disclose the price before shipment.
For every replacement shipment, we will provide the part names, quantities, amount counted toward the allowance and remaining allowance.
4. When the service ends
RideCare ends when either of the following occurs, whichever comes first:
- One year has elapsed from the vehicle order date.
- The cumulative value of replacement parts reaches US$4,699.
The end of RideCare does not affect any standard warranty that remains valid or your statutory rights.
5. Parts exceeding the remaining allowance
If the retail price of a replacement shipment exceeds the remaining allowance, RideCare covers the remaining allowance and the customer pays the difference.
Before shipment, we will clearly disclose the parts price, the amount covered and the difference payable. Shipment will be arranged after the customer confirms and pays the difference. No automatic charge will be made.
6. Installation and labor costs
RideCare supplies new replacement parts only. It does not provide installation services or cover or reimburse labor costs for repair, removal or installation. Customers are responsible for installing the parts themselves or arranging installation by a repair professional at their own expense.
For safety-critical parts, including batteries, electrical systems, brakes, steering and the frame, we recommend using a professional with the appropriate technical skills.
7. Exceptions
- Theft or loss of the vehicle or parts.
- Third-party modifications.
Apart from these exceptions, original parts are not excluded because they are wear items or because of the cause of damage.
8. Requesting replacement parts
Contact us at yishuncheye123@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the damage and photos or videos that can be taken safely. We will confirm compatible parts and explain their prices, allowance usage and shipment arrangements.
Do not continue riding a damaged vehicle, open a battery or perform dangerous tests to demonstrate a fault. For a damaged battery, contact customer support for handling instructions first; do not send it back as an ordinary parcel.
9. Relationship to the standard warranty
RideCare is an additional parts service and does not replace the Telo8 standard warranty. The standard warranty covers manufacturing defects: battery and frame for 15 months, and the ride system for 9 months. Whether or not a vehicle receives RideCare does not affect its standard warranty.
If an earlier order was confirmed with different service commitments, those commitments and the customer's corresponding rights remain in effect. These terms do not retroactively reduce previously confirmed rights.
10. Interpretation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yisuntrek reserves the right of final interpretation of these RideCare service terms. Such interpretation does not alter confirmed service commitments or limit or exclude consumers' statutory rights.
